Meet Clint Lagerberg: Grammy, ACM, Billboard Music Award-nominated and NSAI Song of the Year Award-winning songwriter/producer, Clint Lagerberg has been working in Nashville since 2005.

Lagerberg has had songs recorded by Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Josh Kelley and more.

In 2017, Keith Urban took “Blue Ain’t Your Color” to #1, which has become the most successful song of Urban’s career.

Clint spends most days in his private studio writing and producing with some of the industry’s top writers and artists.

What Bart has to say: One of the most interesting things that Clint said in the interview regarding playing guitar solos, is that if you can sing it with the song, then you know it will fit in the song melodically.

In this episode, you’ll hear

  • Bart & Clint discussed how he went from a Contemporary Christian songwriter to a Country songwriter

  • They spoke about some of Clint’s strengths & weaknesses as a writer, producer, and guitar player
